INFORMATION YOU PROVIDE US
• ACCOUNT AND CONTACT INFORMATION.
To create an account for the use of the
Services, some information will be required from you,
such as your name, email address, password,
date of birth, sex, height, weight, and in
some cases your mobile telephone number. You
may also choose to provide us with additional information,
such as a profile photo, biography, country
information, and community username.
To get the most out of your devices and your
Iowodo experience, you may also provide
information like your logs for food, weight,
height, sleep, water, or female health tracking.
• COMMUNICATIONS INFORMATION.
We will collect any other information that you voluntarily provide to us,
if you subscribe to receive marketing communications from us, submit enquiries
or feedback to us, complete online webforms, or communicate with our customer
or technical support teams via email, telephone, or webchat. The information
we collect may include your name and contact details and details of our communications.
We may record our calls for training and monitoring purposes.
• PROMOTIONS AND EVENTS.
We will collect any information that you provide to us
in connection with any promotions or competitions that we operate or events that we run.
The information that you are asked to provide, and the reasons why you are asked to provide it,
will be made clear to you at the point we ask you to provide your information.
INFORMATION WE AUTOMATICALLY COLLECT
• DEVICE INFORMATION.
We will collect information from and about the
device you use when you use the Services
(whether that is your desktop, mobile, tablet
or Iowodo device). This may include
information like your IP address, browser
type, device type, unique device identification numbers,
language, operating system, location
(depending on the permissions you have granted us), and cookie
information.
Some of this information may be collected using cookies and Similar tracking technology, as explained
further under the Cookies and Similar Tracking Technologies section below.
• GEOLOCATION INFORMATION.
Some Services include features that use precise geolocation data, including GPS signals,
device sensors, Wi-Fi access points, and mobile mast IDs (for example, when you use
functionality that enables you to track your run. We collect this type of data if you
grant us access to your location. You can always remove our access using your Iowodo
device or mobile device settings but this may affect your ability to use certain location-dependent
Services. We may also derive your approximate location from your IP address.
• INFORMATION GENERATED THROUGH USE OF THE SERVICES.
When you access or use the Services, we will
collect information about how you or
your device interact with our Services, such
as the content you access, the referring web page,
and pages visited. We receive certain usage or
network activity information.
This includes information about your
interaction with the Services, for example,
when you view or search content, install
applications or software, create or log into
your account, pair your device to your
account, or open or interact with an application on your Iowodo device.
INFORMATION WE COLLECT FROM THIRD PARTIES
• THIRD-PARTY APPLICATIONS.
If you choose to connect your account on the
Services to your account on another service or third-party
application, we may receive information from
that third party. For example, if you access our
Services through a third-party application
such as Facebook or Google, we may collect information
about you that you have made public via the
privacy settings of that third-party application.
This may include your name, profile picture,
age range, language, email address, and friend list.
Similarly if you choose to link your account to other third-party applications
(such as Strava, Apple Health, and Google Fit), we may collect information about you that you have
made public or choose to share with us via those third parties, including exercise or activity data
from another service. You can stop sharing the information from the other service with us by removing
our access to that other service.
• THIRD PARTY PARTNERS.
We may partner with third parties, such as
employers and insurance companies that offer Iowodo Services
to their employees and customers. In such
cases, those companies may provide us with your name,
email address, or similar information (like a
telephone number or subscriber ID) so that we can invite
you to participate or determine your
eligibility for particular benefits, such as discounts or free services.

HOW WE USE INFORMATIONTO PROVIDE AND MAINTAIN THE SERVICES.
We use your personal information to provide you with the Services. For example, we use your information to set up your Iowodo account, to enable you to track your exercise and activity via the Iowodo dashboard, to use the "Community", "Press", and "Events" features of the Services, and to provide you with customer support.
The “Community” feature is where we will share the latest news about our brand. The “Press” section will display media reviews and news of Iowodo products and services. “Events” will provide information on new device and service releases, and expos where you will be able to see demos, instructions, and selected devices in person.
TO IMPROVE, PERSONALIZE, AND DEVELOP THE SERVICE.
We use the information we collect to improve and personalize the Services and to develop new ones. For example, we use the information to troubleshoot and protect against errors, perform data analysis and testing, and conduct research and surveys. We may also keep a record of our communications to monitor and improve the quality of our communications.
When you allow us to collect precise location information, we use that information to provide and improve features of the Services such as recording where a workout took place or mapping an activity.
We also use your information to make inferences and show you more relevant content. Here are some examples:
• Information like your height, weight, sex, and age allows us to improve the accuracy of your daily exercise and activity statistics such as the number of calories you burned and the distance you travelled.
• Based on your sleep data, we may make inferences about your sleeping patterns and provide you with customized insights to help you improve your sleep.
• We may personalize exercise and activity goals for you based on the goals you previously set and your historical exercise or activity data.
TO SERVE RELEVANT ADVERTISING.
We may use your information to provide you with Iowodo advertising both on third party properties and to provide you with relevant third party advertising on our Services.
TO COMMUNICATE WITH YOU.
We use your information when needed to send you service notifications (such as information about your account management, product delivery or logistics, technical support, updates to terms, and system maintenance) and to respond to you when you contact us. We also use your information to contact you about new features or products that we think you would be interested in. You can control marketing communications by using your notification preferences in user center.[ User center will be available in an upcoming update.] or via the “Unsubscribe” link in an email. We will, however, continue to send you Service notifications as long as your account is active (and in some cases, when necessary, after your account has expired or been terminated).
TO PROMOTE SAFETY AND SECURITY.
We use the information we collect to promote the safety and security of the Services, our users, and other parties. For example, we may use the information to authenticate users, protect against fraud and abuse or other illegal activity, respond to a legal request or claim, conduct audits, and enforce our terms and policies.
FOR QUALITY ASSURANCE AND TRAINING PURPOSES.
We may use your information for quality assurance and training purposes. For example, we might keep a copy of our communications to ensure the quality and training of our customer and technical support services.

HOW INFORMATION IS SHAREDWe may disclose your information to the following categories of recipients:
• Group Companies, Third Party Service Providers and Business Partners:
We may share your personal information with other members of our group, with our third party service providers and with our business partners who provide services to us (such as IT, analytics, advertising, payment processing, and customer sales, technical support or delivery services), who otherwise process personal information for purposes that are described in this Policy (such as advertising partners and insurance partners) or who are otherwise notified to you when we collect your personal information.
• Third Party Apps that you link to your Iowodo account:
As part of the functionality of the Services, we offer pairing functionality to enable you to connect your Iowodo account with third party applications such as Strava, Apple Health, and Google Fit and similar. If you choose to connect your Iowodo account, we will share certain personal information with the paired application. Dependent on what information you choose to share with such third party apps, the information may include information generated through your use of the Services (i.e. workout information) and other contact and profile information. The processing of your personal information by such third party applications shall be governed by the privacy policies of those third parties.
• Other Users:
Depending on your use of the Services, we will make certain personal information from your User Profile available for other Iowodo members to see.
• Competent Law Enforcement Bodies, Regulators, Government Agencies, Courts or other Third Parties:
We may share your personal information with competent law enforcement bodies, regulators, government agencies, courts, or other third parties where we believe disclosure is necessary: (i) to comply with applicable law; (ii) to exercise, establish or defend our legal rights (including to collect amounts owed to us); (iii) to protect your rights or vital interests or those of any other person; or (iv) to detect, prevent, or otherwise address security, fraud, or technical issues.
• Potential Buyers (and their agents and advisors):
We may share your personal information with actual or potential buyers (and their agents and advisors) in connection with any actual or proposed purchase, merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, bankruptcy, receivership, sale of company assets, or transition of service to another provider, provided that we inform the buyer or transferee that it must use your personal information only for the purposes disclosed in this Privacy Policy. -
YOUR RIGHTS TO ACCESS AND CONTROL YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATIONWe give you user center and tools to access and control your personal information, as described below, regardless of where you live. If you live in certain jurisdictions, you may have legal rights with respect to your information, which your user center and tools allow you to exercise, as outlined below. User center are either presently available, or will be available in an upcoming update.
• Accessing Data.
By logging into your account, you can access much of your personal information, including your dashboard with your daily exercise and activity statistics.
• Editing and Deleting Data.
By logging into your account and using your user center, you can change and delete your personal information. For instance, you can edit or delete the profile data you provide and delete your account if you wish.
• If you choose to delete your account, please note that while most of your information will be deleted within 7 days, we may also preserve data for legal reasons or to prevent harm, including as described in the How Information Is Shared section, above.
• Objecting to Data Use.
We give you user center and tools to control our data use. For example, using your email subscriptions, you can limit the notifications you receive from us; and under your application settings, you can revoke the access of third-party applications that you previously connected to your Iowodo account. You can also use the Iowodo application to unpair your device from your account at any time. User center are either presently available, or will be made available in an upcoming update. -
DATA RETENTIONWe keep the personal information we collect under this Privacy Policy for as long as you use the Services or as necessary to fulfil the purpose(s) for which it was collected as described in the How We Use Information section, such as to provide the Services, resolve disputes, establish legal defenses, conduct audits, pursue legitimate business purposes, enforce our agreements, prevent harm, and comply with applicable laws.
More specifically, we keep your account information, like your name, email address, and password, for as long as your account is in existence because we need it to operate your account. In some cases, when you give us information for a feature of the Services, we delete the data after it is no longer needed for the feature. For instance, when you provide your contact list for finding friends on the Services, we delete the list after it is used for adding contacts as friends. We keep other information, like your exercise or activity data, until you delete the data or your account because we use this data to provide you with your personal statistics and other aspects of the Services.
When we no longer need the personal information as described above, we will destroy, erase, or de-identify it. -
OUR POLICIES FOR CHILDRENChildren under the age of 13 are not permitted to create an account either on our website or on the app. Parents who allow their children to use the website or the app agree to be fully responsible for the conduct of their children. We do not purposely collect any information on or knowingly sell any of the Services to children under the age of 13.
If we learn that we have collected the personal information of a child under the age of 13, we will take steps to delete that information as soon as possible. Parents who believe that a child under the age of 13 has submitted personal information to us should contact us at legal@Iowodo.com to have it deleted. -
INFORMATION SECURITYWe work hard to keep your data safe. We use a combination of technical, administrative, and physical controls to maintain the security of your data. INTERNATIONAL DATA TRANSFERSWe operate internationally and may transfer, process, and/or store your personal information in countries other than the country in which you are resident, including the United States and China.
If you are a resident of the European Economic Area (the "EEA") or (after European Union law ceases to apply to the United Kingdom (the "UK")) the UK or Switzerland, we take appropriate safeguards to protect your personal information in accordance with this Privacy Policy following any transfer from the EEA, the UK, or Switzerland. We obtain this consent separately when you take actions leading to our obtaining the data, for example, when you pair your device to your account, grant us access to your exercise or activity data from another service, or use the female health tracking feature. You can use your user center and tools to withdraw your consent at any time, including by stopping use of a feature, removing our access to a third-party service, unpairing your device, or deleting your data or your account.
OUR LEGAL BASES FOR PROCESSING PERSONAL DATA
Our legal bases for collecting and using the personal information described above will depend on the personal information concerned and the specific context in which we collect it. However we will normally collect personal information from you only:
• When the processing is necessary to perform a contract with you, like the Terms of Service; and
• Where the processing is in our legitimate business interests, such as in improving, personalizing and developing the Services, marketing new features or products that may be of interest, and promoting safety and security as described in the How We Use Information section; or
• Where we have your consent to do so.
In some cases we may also have a legal obligation to collect personal information from you or may otherwise need the personal information to protect your vital interests or those of another person.

• Electronic, visual or similar information, such as your profile photo or other photos.
• Professional or employment related information, including any information (like your name, email address, or similar information) that your employer provides to us so that we can invite you to participate in or determine your eligibility for Iowodo Services that they offer to their employees.
• Other information that you provide, including account information such as your biography or country; information for features of the Services, for example, an alarm, information about your friends, and logs for food, weight, sleep, water, or female health tracking; messages on the Services; and information recorded by your device which may vary depending on the device you use.
• Inferences drawn from any of the above, including the number of calories you burned, distance you travelled, sleep insights, and personalized exercise and activity goals.
We never sell the personal information of our users. We do work with partners who provide us with advertising services as described in the Analytics and Advertising Services Provided By Others section.
